Remote Memorial Care helps families arrange respectful, family-authorized light memorial care visits through our platform. When you book a service, you authorize Remote Memorial Care to arrange a vetted local care provider to visit the memorial on your family's behalf for the limited purpose of completing the light care tasks you requested. We coordinate matching, scheduling, documentation, photo updates, and follow-up so you can feel confident your loved one's memorial is being cared for.
Services may include leaf removal, small debris pickup, gentle cold-water wiping of the memorial or headstone, flower placement if included in the order, and before-and-after photo updates.
Our services do not include construction, repair, restoration, engraving, painting, pressure washing, chemical cleaning, landscaping, moving fixed objects, or structural changes to any grave, marker, headstone, memorial, or surrounding area.
Services are performed respectfully during daytime and cemetery open hours. Care providers must follow posted cemetery rules. If cemetery staff asks a care provider to stop or leave, the care provider must comply, and we may adjust, reschedule, refund, or review the order as appropriate.
Creating an account is free. We ask that you provide accurate information so we can reach you with updates and photos from your visit. Keep your password private, and let us know right away if you ever notice anything unusual with your account.
Payment is collected securely at the time of booking. Payments are processed through Stripe — Remote Memorial Care does not store your full credit card number on our servers. Your confirmed price won't change — any pricing updates we make apply only to future orders. If your area becomes unavailable after booking, we'll contact you promptly and provide a full refund.
Every order comes with completion photos and our full satisfaction guarantee. If something wasn't right, we'll make it right — whether that's a free redo visit or a refund. See our Refund & Redo Policy for details. We respond to support requests within one business day.
By booking a service, you confirm that you are a family member, plot owner, or authorized representative with permission to request light memorial care for the memorial. You also agree to provide accurate grave location details and to use the platform respectfully and honestly — treating our care providers with kindness and not attempting to arrange services outside the platform. These ground rules help us maintain the quality and safety that every family deserves.
Local care providers are independent contractors, not employees of Remote Memorial Care. They may choose whether to accept available jobs through the platform and are responsible for their own taxes, transportation, tools, and any local requirements that may apply to them. Care providers must follow the service scope described above, posted cemetery rules, and our platform quality standards.
If we ever update these terms in a meaningful way, we'll let you know before the change takes effect. If you have any questions, please contact us through our Contact Support page. We're always happy to help.
